Illesteva Beca and Kleinfeld Sunglasses


Illesteva have released previews of 2 of their new Sunglasses, the Beca and Kleinfield models will be available later this year. The Jeffrey Deitch-esque “Kleinfeld” frames feature a 4mm Italian acetate in a matte tortoise color& the Beca is made from Italian steel with matte acetate temples.

Created by Damir Doma in collaboration with Linda Farrow Projects , these sunglasses present a new take on the classic wayfarer. The tortoiseshell frame is faintly rounded to create a fresh approach with the addition of a distressed chunky shiny nose bridge.

OG watch brand Vestal has just announced that they are jumping into eyewear with the launch of Vestal Vision. Set to debut at next week’s Class @ ASR tradeshow in San Diego, Vestal Vision is dropping several styles like the De Luna (above) and pairing them up with artists like Peaches, Eagles of Death Metal, and Amanda Blank.

Oakley x Stanley Donwood - Jupiter Sunglasses


Oakley Artist Series Sunglasses have been successful project collaborating with modern artists and designers from different facets of industries around the world. Latest project works with contemporary artist Stanley Donwood on Oakley’s popular Jupiter model sunglasses.

Donwood had produced artwork for Radiohead and this project takes a rearrangement of the artwork, London View, produced for the album cover. Accompanying the release of the sunglasses is a white t-shirt that is also printed with same custom illustrative artwork in black on the bottom portion of the shirt. Also the Oakley Harajuku store in Japan will display the one of eight original large London View artwork in store which will also be available for purchase.

Vuzix Wrap 920AR 3D video glasses with Augmented Reality display





At the recently concluded CES, Vuzix revealed its latest Wrap 920AR, 3D video glasses that are identical to sunglasses and provide the user with an all impressive Augmented Reality display videos in 3D. Delivering only 1504 x 480 stereo 3D images via an embedded stereoscopic camera, the pair of glasses may seem a little high-priced at $800.
