RAEN Optics 2010

Another great eyewear company making its mark is an independent outfit called RAEN. The year old company is just now releasing their second collection which is a blend of both modern and classic with edgy interpretations and unique colorways of old time favorites. Above is the Volta, a bolder take on the classic wayfarer.

Han Kjobenhavn Frames

Danish designer Han Kjobenhavn has a brilliant collection of traditional-inspired timeless frames. Beautifully vintage lines and artistic direction make up the simple, yet elegant aesthetic of the collection. While each of 5 available styles offer something a little different, they are all classics. Our two personal favorites, if we had to choose, would have to be the masculine Grand Danois frame and the retro-looking Wolfgangs. Each frame is available in multiple colors with various lens options.

Dita Senator

Dita's Senator evokes the classic Clubmaster in a slimmer, more modern frame shape yet is a classic on its own. The entirety of the frame is built from lightweight titanium even down to the nose pads and as with all Dita frames come in a well chosen selection of colors.

Raf Simons x Linda Farrow 2010 Spring/Summer Sunglass Collection

The following designer collaboration between Linda Farrow and Raf Simons involves some simple manipulations to established classics. Three styles include a wayfarer style, a rounded version, and a traditional aviator design, which all come with leather-wrapped protective case.
